The Niger state Judicial Commission of Inquiry into cases of police brutality has appealed to literate members of society to assist less educated ones on modalities to reach out to the commission.

Chairman of the commission Justice Ishaku Usman made the appeal during it’s inaugural sitting in Minna.
Justice Ishaku Usman explained that for the commission to succeed in it’s assignment there is the need for massive involvement and participation of Nigerlites by way of forwarding their complaints and suggestions.

He however stressed the need for Nigeria Bar Association Civil Servants Students and other Civil Organisations to be actively involved in making their submission to the commission towards discharging it’s duties deligently.

Justice Ishaku Usman also said that the commission has establish zonal offices in parts of Niger state for easy access and advice people to take advantage of such offices nearest to them.

Governor Abubakar Sani Bello had during his speech while inaugurating the commission charged them to be fair and just to all inline with their mandate.

The Governor who gave them thirty days within which to submit their report to government however assured them of support at all times to succeed.
