Ekiti Varsity Alumni excited over Oyebode’s appointment as governing council chair

The leadership of the Alumni Association of the Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti (EKSU) has lauded the appointment of Prof Akin Oyebode as Chairman, Governing Council of the University by Governor Biodun Oyebanji.

The Association, in a statement by its President, Engr Dipo Bamisaye, said the footprints of his tenure as the former Vice Chancellor of the University are indelible.

It assured that he is capable of serious reconstruction of the University.

The association described the appointment of Prof Oyebode, who is now also the Pro-Chancellor of the Institution as an intelligent search and the visionary intention of Governor Oyebanji by putting the right round peg in the round hole.

The Association also congratulated other personalities who made the appointment and pledged to work with the Governing Council.
