The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) G-5, also known as the Integrity Governors, have declared their support for Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed to secure a second term in 2023.
The governors, under the leadership of Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, made this known during a solidarity visit to Bauchi on Wednesday.
Speaking at the Ramat House in Bauchi, Wike said that it was important to the G-5 give their support to Governor Mohammed.
“Whatever affects Governor Bala Mohammed also affects us as a group, hence our resolve to reach out to Governor Mohammed with support for his second term bid.

“We are no longer running for the second tenure even though some of us are going for Senate tickets in their respective States, I am the only one who is not running for any election after failing the presidential primaries,” Wike said.
Responding, Governor Mohammed thanked the G-5 for their support, stating that it was “important to him at this time when anti-party activities and treachery were the order of the day in the State chapter of PDP.”
ThisNigeria reported that the PDP G-5 also paid a visit to Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom and commissioned soke projects in the state.
