Minister for Communication and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami has reacted to a report that the United States had placed him on a watch list over his alleged link to Al-Qaeda.
Daily Independent newspaper had reported that the Minister had alleged links to terrorist organisations and had schooled with “top jihadists” around the globe.
Reacting to the report, Pantami said that he had been preaching against the Islamic terrorist organization, Boko Haram, for the past 15 years.
He also reminded Nigerians to verify their SIM cards using their National Identification Number (NIN) to avoid facing the wrath of the law.
