Insecurity: Zaar Nation Postpones 2020 Annual Cultural Festival

The Zaar Development Association (ZDA) nation wide, has announced the postponement of its 2020 annual harvest thanksgiving festival known as Lemp Zaar slated for Saturday, the 7th of November while citing security threats.
This was contained in press statement signed by the National Secretary of the association, Mr. Adamu Bagudu and copy made available to newsmen in Bauchi Thursday
The National Secretary explained that that the postponement was done to avert eminent breakdown of law and order.ploted by enemies of progress of the land
He said the decision was taken by the national EXCO at it’s emergency meeting on Tuesday morning
He said, “This decision has become necessary to forestall further breakdown of law and order as enshrined in article 25 and 26 of the ZDA”..
He said that the measure taken will prevent some group of youth and their sponsors from organizing such a program for the ZDA when there is an improved and favorable for a normal and hitch free celebration.
