Joe Biden is 46th President of the United States of America.
He took the oath of office, alongside his deputy, Vice-President Kamala Harris, who has made history as the first female Vice-President in American.
The well-attended event took place at the Capitol Hill, Washington, and had in attendance former Presidents Barack Obama, George Bush Jnr, Bill Clinton, as well as Donald Trump’s deputy, Pence.
Immediate past president, Trump made good his threat of boycotting the event.
Biden in his inauguration pledged to heal and restore America for Americans. He said the era of divisions across ethnic or racial was over.
“Democracy has prevailed,” he said.
