Sirika tells passengers guidelines for entering Nigeria

Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, has spoken on the criteria for passengers to enter the country.

At the daily briefing of Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, he said that passengers flying into Nigeria must register online, pay for COVID-19 test fee and upload the negative result not older than 72 hours before boarding.

He also stated that airlines that carry a passenger without test results would be fined $3,500 per passenger in addition to being turned back.

Also, international flights will resume September 5 and planes from countries that banned flights from Nigeria will not enter the country.
