Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki has terminated the appointment of Mr. Osagie Asabor as the Acting General Manager of the Edo State Broadcasting Service.
A statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Barrister Osarodion Ogie, dated January 11, 2022, said the termination of the former General Manager of the state-owned broadcasting outfit takes immediate effect.
Ogie, however, announced the appointment of Mrs. Queeneth Orobedo as the interim general manager of the station.
He said the termination of the former general manager and the appointment of a new interim manager was ahead of the imminent revamping and restructuring of the establishment by the state government.

Recall that Mr. Osagie Asabor was appointed acting general manager in 2020 to replace Mr. Ramsey Abu-Osagie.
The statement ordered the sacked general manager to report to the Edo State Ministry of Communication and Orientation for redeployment to a new assignment.
