A 3-day wheelchair Softball Coaching Clinics begins today at the National Stadium Surulere, Lagos.
Scheduled for 25 to 26 may 2026, the Clinic is aimed at developing skills, share knowledge and grow wheelchair Softball in Nigeria.
Event coordinators, Jude Uwazie and Dotu Bakre in a joint statement, explained that the introduction to wheelchair softball, coaching techniques and strategy, player development and inclusion, practical sessions and drills, game management, safety and injury prevention as some of the highlights of the 3-day programme.
The diaspora based duo of Jude Uwazie and Dotun Bakre, said they want Nigerian Wheelchair Softball practitioners to acquire the needed skills, confidence that will elevate them to the champion stage they aim for, hence this inclusion, empowerment and excellence initiative through wheelchair Softball.
They appealed to Nigerians and stakeholders alike to join the empowerment crusade.
