Temple ready to fulfil 10-cow wedding promise, Peller unreachable — Delta governor’s aide
A media aide to Delta State Governor, Ossai Ovie Success, has criticised social media personality Peller over his claim that a promise by Delta businessman Tempo Mudi known also as Temple to donate 10 cows for his wedding was not genuine.
In a post shared on X on Wednesday, Ossai said Peller’s allegation that the pledge was fake was inaccurate, insisting that the businessman had made repeated efforts to fulfil the promise.
According to him, Temple had consistently contacted him to facilitate the delivery of the cows but had been unable to reach Peller despite several attempts.
“It has come to my attention that Peller, in a recent video, alleged that the promise of 10 cows for his wedding by Delta billionaire Temple was fake.
“For the records, that is not correct. Temple has been in touch with me repeatedly regarding fulfilling this promise,” he wrote.
Ossai added that Iyah Daniels Eduvie could verify the efforts made to deliver the cows, noting that Temple had instructed him over the weekend to reach Peller, who was reportedly still in Warri at the time.
“As recently as Saturday and Sunday, he directed me to reach Peller in Warri for delivery, but Peller has been unreachable.
“Temple did not make an empty promise. Since Saturday, he specifically told me to reach you because you were still in Warri so we can hand them over,” he stated.
The governor’s aide maintained that the businessman remained committed to honouring the pledge, stressing that keeping promises was a core value among Deltans.
“‘A promise made by a Deltan is a debt that must be paid.’
“Here in Delta, we don’t do fake promises. We are promise keepers,” Ossai said.
He urged Peller to establish contact so that the promised cows could be delivered.
“The only question now is: How do we reach you to deliver your 10 cows?
“Please reach out to me. Till then, I am disappointed,” he added.
