A former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has berated the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) over its threat to attack Igbos for allegedly killing its members in the South-East.

Fani-Kayode, via Twitter on Friday, described the threat as “disgusting” and asked the association to reign in its “killer members” for peace to reign.

“Disgusted that Miyetti Allah threatened the lives of Igbos. This is not the way forward and does not augur well for peace, unity and national reconciliation.

“N.B. This is not 1967 and this time around the Igbos are not on their own.

“If you want peace reign in the killer herdsmen,” he tweeted.

MACBAN, through its National Secretary, Engr. Saleh Alhassan had vowed to deal with the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu and his members over the recent killing of not less than 50 herdsmen in the South-East.
