Timothy Adegoke: “If anything happens to me, hold Police responsible” – Popular broadcaster, Hamzat

Tobi Adebayo
Founder of Agidigbo FM in Ibadan, Alhaji Oriyomi Hamzat has cried out to Nigerians to hold the Nigeria Police Force(NPF) responsible should anything happen to him in their custody.

Oriyomi made the call in a video posted online on Thursday.

He said that he was arrested by operatives of the Federal Investigation Bureau of the NPF over his involvement in the ongoing murder case of Timothy Adegoke.

Oriyomi stated further that he was told by the FIB that his arrest was instituted by Mr. Rahmon Adedoyin, owner of the hotel where Timothy was allegedly killed.

“I was arrested by SIB in Ibadan and handed over to FIB in Abuja. I am currently in the nation’s capital and my offence is demanding for justice for Timothy who was found dead in Adedoyin’s hotel.

“My reason for making this video is to update you all about what is going on. At this point, I cannot tell what might be done to me here but as you can all see, I am hale and hearty. There is nothing wrong with me. I might get harmed in one way or the other, hence my appeal to Nigerians to share this video so that everyone will know who is responsible, should anything happen to me.

“If i am able to leave here alive, I will continue to demand for justice for Timothy. Nothing will change. Everyone behind his murder must not go scot free. I do not care what happens. Justice must be served,” he said.
