Immediate past governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, has claimed that President Bola Tinubu was the one wooing him to be part of his cabinet.
This comes after he was failed to be confirmed as a minister by the Senate.
Two other ministerial-nominees, Sanni Danladi and Stella Okotete, were also not confirmed by the Senate over failure to pass security screening.

On Thursday, reports emerged online that El-Rufai had withdrawn his interest in being part of President Bola Tinubu’s cabinet and recommended Jafaru Ibrahim Sani, who served as commissioner in Kaduna State.
However, in a viral video seen on Friday, the former FCT minister, speaking in Hausa language, said, “Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the one pestering me to work with him for more than 10 times. Wallahi, Tallahi, Billahi, I am too big for someone to be my Godfather.”
