President Bola Tinubu has sworn in Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun as the23rd and second female Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN).
Kekere-Ekun was sworn in by the president on Friday in acting capacity pending confirmation by the Senate.
She takes over from Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, who bowed out if service on Aug. 22 after reaching the retirement age of 70.
