Tinubu’s govt will restore Nigeria’s economy- Oduah

Former Minister of Aviation, Senator Stella Oduah has said that the President Bola Tinubu-led All Progressives Congress (APC) administration is steadily strengthening and repositioning the nation’s economy for sustainable stability and real visible growth.

The former minister who spoke while addressing the Igbo Business Community in Abuja at the weekend, also applauded President Tinubu for his alleged manifest commitment towards the infrastructural development of the Southeast, as well as the recognition, acceptance, and inclusion of the region in governance.

She commended the President and the national leadership of the APC for appointing Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma as the Coordinator of the Party’s activities in the Southeast region, stating that she joined the APC recently because Uzodimma was appointed well his efforts in bringing federal presence and development to the region on the platform of the APC.

Emphasising that the Tinubu administration is not given to loud hypes, self-praise, and showboating, Oduah said that the achievements of the administration are non-speculative but real and verifiable

Oduah described the policy trust of the administration as practical, methodical, and strategically geared towards unlocking the nation’s productive potential and reigniting creativity with huge employment opportunities in all spheres for innovative Nigerians, particularly the youths.

She remarked that with the steady implementation of the Renewed Hope Agenda and the embracing of its principles by Nigerians, the hardship being faced in the country would soon be a thing of the past.

According to her, “President Tinubu is a listening leader and silent achiever. He is not given to propaganda, media hype, and showboating. He is focused on the mandate, and his achievements are non-speculative but real and verifiable.

“His policies are practical methodical and strategically geared towards unlocking the productive potentials of the nation. With the steady implementation of the Renewed Hope Agenda and its acceptance by Nigerians, this administration is silently reigniting the ingenuity of Nigerians and creating massive job opportunities, especially for our youths in every sphere of the economy.”

She commended President Tinubu for keeping to his 30 per cent affirmative action on youth inclusion in appointments and participation in governance in addition to approving the release of N60bn for the benefit of the youths under the Agric Investment and Small and Medium Enterprises Scheme.

Oduah contended that such initiatives point to the President’s significant commitment towards unlocking and harnessing the potentials of the Nigerian youths and repositioning them for higher productivity, self-sufficiency, and global competitiveness in all critical sectors”,

She also applauded President Tinubu for his bold efforts in clearing the inherited $7bn foreign exchange backlog, which she said has started reflecting in the strengthening of the Naira and overall recovery of the national economy.

*Applauds Uzodimma’s role as APC coordinator in S’ East

On party activities, Senator Oduah stressed that the appointment of Governor Hope Uzodimma has further endeared the Southeast to the APC given the Governor’s popularity in the region due to his achievements in government adding that with him as APC coordinator in Southeast, the Party will further penetrate and take complete leadership of the region in the next round of elections.

She said, “I joined the APC because of the appointment of Governor Uzodimma as the Coordinator of the Party in the Southeast and his ability to bring federal presence and development to the Southeast. Governor Uzodimma has made the Southeast to embrace the APC.  Many more leaders in the southeast are joining the APC because of him.”

The Anambra-born senator insisted that the South-East has a lot to benefit from a government that values, promotes, and supports creativity, quest for productivity, and inclusiveness adding that that is why the region has embraced President Tinubu and the APC.

She urged the members of the Igbo Business Community to remain united in support of President Tinubu, Governor Uzodimma, and the APC.
