The former Speaker to Ondo state House of Assembly, Dr Bakita-Olufowobi-Bello-has described the Abuja- Kaduna Train attack by suspected terrorists as a national disaster.

He commiserated with the victims.

The former lawmaker noted that from all indications, the railway system provides more safety than road transportation.

According to him, many passengers opted for it, particularly on the deadly Abuja-Kaduna road where incessant kidnapping, robberies, and other crimes are very common.

He expressed concern about a situation where all means of transportation are now risky and fearful saying” then where do we go from here?.

The University Lecturer called on government to do needful as the daily killing of innocent Nigerians by hoodlums is now embarrassing.

He noted that this might lead to foreign investors refusing to come to the country.

The former Speaker urged the security agents to make sure those abducted are rescued.
