
The Electoral Tribunal in Nasarawa has sacked Governor Abdullahi Sule from office.
The tribunal, in its judgment, declared the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Emmanuel Ombudagu the winner of the election.
The lead judge, Justice Ezekiel Ajayi disclosed that the petitioner was able to prove allegations of over-voting, and disruption of voting, amongst other irregularities against the governor before the court.

Following proof presented by the PDP càndidate, the court nullified Governor Sule’s victory and declared winner Emmanuel Ombudagu the winner.
Recall that in March, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Lafia, declared Sule the winner of the governorship election in Nasarawa State
