Abolaji Ayodeji
Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) Chairman, Abike Dabiri-Erewa has said that she will not allow herself to be bullied on social media.

Dabiri-Erewa said this in response to a former Education Minister, Oby Ezekwesili.

The NIDCOM chairman had replied to a tweet that stated that she is part of the country’s “failure.”

A Twitter user, @sensegiver1 had berated Dabiri-Erewa,  stating that “she should go to Indonesia and see how Nigerians are treated. Mumu woman supporting a failed government. She’s equally part of the failure. Eye service!”

Responding, Dabiri-Erewa tweeted; “Ode! You go to Indonesia, carry drugs, do cultism and come begging to be rescued from a death sentence. Thank God for @ndlea_nigeria now saving people like you from death row.”

Ezekwesili then advised Abike Dabiri-Erewa to “clean up her mess.”

“Dear Abike @abikedabiri, What is this? Kai. This is messy. Please clean it up. Quickly. Please,” the former minister tweeted.

Replying Ezekwesili’s tweet, the NIDCOM chairman stated that she is not a public official that would allowed herself to be bullied.

“I’m done on this. But out of respect for you , will ask, Clean what up? It’s okay for some untrained, uncouth guy to refer to me as ‘mumu’, and I can’t call him ‘ode’ I’m not a public official that cows to bullying pls,” she tweeted.
