United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc has launched the fifth edition of its highly anticipated Supersavers Promo, themed “Season of Progress,” bringing fresh opportunities for millions of Nigerians to build savings habits while winning life-changing rewards.
The nine-month campaign, which runs from September 1, 2025, to May 31, 2026, was unveiled at UBA’s headquarters in Marina, Lagos, and is designed to encourage disciplined savings while giving back to both new and existing customers.
Speaking at the launch, UBA’s Group Deputy Managing Director, Chukwuma Nweke, said the initiative reflects the bank’s deep commitment to financial empowerment.
“This campaign is about much more than winning prizes. It is about helping families and individuals take charge of their future—whether that means securing education for their children, owning a home, starting a business, or simply planning better for tomorrow,” he explained.
The reward structure is one of the most exciting aspects of this year’s promo. Customers stand the chance of winning star prizes of ₦1 million, quarterly cash rewards of ₦500,000, and monthly benefits that include cash, airtime, and special prizes for young savers in Kiddies, Teens, and NextGen accounts.
Dormant account holders can also benefit by reactivating their accounts with a minimum of ₦10,000 to qualify for draws.
UBA’s Group Head of Retail and Digital Banking, Shamsideen Fashola, recalled that during the bank’s 75th anniversary celebration last year, customers went home with ₦150 million in prizes. He described this year’s promo as “bigger, bolder, and more inclusive.”
Alero Ladipo, Group Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications, emphasised that the Supersavers Promo is not only about prizes, but also about expanding access to safe and modern banking solutions.
“Financial inclusion is at the heart of what we do. By encouraging more people to save, we are bringing more Nigerians into the formal financial system, bridging gaps, and creating growth opportunities. This promo is a way of empowering Nigerians and ensuring that banking is accessible, inclusive, and rewarding,” she said.
UBA has also introduced a seamless digital onboarding platform that allows customers to open accounts instantly online, making participation easier and faster than ever before.
