UK bans care workers from bringing dependants

The government of the United Kingdom has indefinitely banned foreign health and care workers from bringing dependents into the country.

The news was announced in a statement on the official X page of the UK home office on Monday.

The home office disclosed that the new rule was a measure to curb the migration rate of foreigners into the United Kingdom.

According to them, over 120,000 thousand foreign dependents of health and care workers migrated into the country in 2024.
