Veteran actor, Hanks Anuku denies using hard drugs, speaks on battle with depression

Nollywood icon, Hanks Anuku, has finally spoken about his battle with depression and alcohol while denying hard drug use.

In a video sighted by ThisNigeria, Anuku said he started drinking due to unemployment stress and parenting pressures.

“Yes, depression makes me drink, but I will never take hard drugs. I don’t take hard drugs at all. Only have wines.

“I was broken into pieces and I had to go drinking, nothing else.

“Please, I have a film academy coming up here in Abuja and the land we just acquired.
