Veteran Nollywood actress, Sidikat Ofunkanwi also known as Iyabo Oko is dead.

The actress died on Wednesday after battling health issues for a long time.

Her death was confirmed in a Facebook post by her daughter on Thursday.

The actress was born November 15th, 1960 in Rivers state, Port Harcourt.

She was a native of Iwo, Osun State.

The deceased was launched into limelight after featuring in a movie title Oko, which was what earned her the stage name Iyabo Oko.

In 2016 , the actress was reported dead after she was flown to an hospital in India following a diagnosis of Ischemic stroke.

However, she regained consciousness three hours after she was confirmed dead
