Fans of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Shine Ya Eye housemate, Pere Egbi, on Monday, staged a protest outside the office of Multichoice Nigeria located in Ilupeju, Lagos.
Pere and Angel were fake-evicted by BBNaija and moved to another part of the house to compete for a chance to be in the finals.
However, trouble began when the voting percentage was displayed after the eviction show, showing Pere with 25.31% of votes, while Angel had 14. 63%.
The large difference between the fake-evicted housemates’ votes caused an outrage, with fans accusing the organisers of trying to play foul in order to get rid of Pere.
