A TikTok user simply identified as Perry has broken her silence following an assault on her by some members of the Neo-Black Movement (NBM) popularly known as Aiye Confraternity.

In an interview with Nigerian View, Perry narrated her ordeal with the cultists who tracked her down and physically assaulted her for using their songs and slangs in a TikTok video.

“I was beaten and humiliated by some cult boys in Benin. They said I made a video using their song. I saw the song on TikTok and decided to use it because I wanted to gain followers. I am not a cultist. Right now, I am confused. I feel so unsafe. I need help.

“They were six in number. I was picked up from a bar in Benin and I was taken to a corner. Two more boys joined them. They all had guns on them and asked me to follow them to their leader. They insisted that I must follow them. I was scared. I did not know what to do. They dragged me into a building and started assaulting me,” she said.
