“Village Headmaster” star, Lari Williams dies

Veteran Nollywood actor, Lari Williams has passed away.
According to reports, Williams died on Sunday, February 27 after a long battle with an undisclosed illness.
The actor was aged 81.
He was famous for his soap operas such as Village Headmaster, Ripples, and Mirror in The Sun.

Williams was the first president of the Actors’ Guild of Nigeria (AGN), a poet, playwright.
His career which spanned over five decades earned him a national honour; Member of the Order of the Federal Republic in 2008.
