Microblogging site Twitter has said that it is pleased and deeply committed to Nigeria following the lifting of suspension by the Federal Government.

The microblogging site was in 2022 suspended following the removal of President Muhammadu Buhari’s tweets and other national security issues.

Twitter in a tweet via  @Policy handle, said that it is pleased that the government of Nigeria restored Twitter for everyone in Nigeria and that it mission in Nigeria and around the world, is to serve the public

It said: “We are pleased that Twitter has been restored for everyone in Nigeria. Our mission in Nigeria & around the world, is to serve the public conversation.
