We Are Yet To Receive Mohbad’s Autopsy Report – Police

The Lagos State Police Command has said the autopsy report of the late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, professionally known as Mohbad, has not been given to them.

Recently, there have been calls for the release of the autopsy report to ascertain what killed the 27-year-old singer.

Reacting, the spokesperson of the command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, in an interview with The Punch, said the command is yet to receive the result.

Hundeyin said, “The autopsy report has not been given to us. Some people have been carrying rumours that it’s ready. It’s one thing for it to be ready; it’s another thing for it to be given to us officially – that we would receive and sign a copy that we have received it. So, we don’t work with rumours, we work with facts.”

Mohbad died on September 12 in controversial circumstances.

His body was exhumed from where it was buried in Ikorodu, Lagos state for an autopsy to be carried out.

On October 6, the state police command announced the autopsy had been concluded while results were being awaited.
