An Iranian man simply identified as Amou Haji , who is also referred to as the “world dirtiest man” is dead.

Haji, who is reported to have last showered 60 years ago, died at the age of 94 years.

According to IRNA, Haji died weeks after villagers forced him to have a wash more than half a century since he last had one.

He allegedly stopped bathing because he believed that he will fall sick from soap and water .

Amou haji had lived in isolation in an open brick house which the villagers made after he had been sleeping in a hole for years in the village of Dejgah in the Kermānshāh region of Iran.
