“We Igbos are used to this”, Cubana Chief Priest reacts to Obi Cubana’s arrest

Socialite, Pascal Chibuike Okechukwu a.k.a Cubana Chief Priest has reacted to the arrest of his former boss, Obinna Iyiegbu popularly known as Obi Cubana by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

ThisNigeria reported that Iyiegbu was arrested by the anti-graft agency on Monday on allegations bordering on money laundering and tax fraud.

Obi Cubana had caught the attention of Nigerians after throwing a lavish burial for his mother at their hometown of Oba in Anambra State.

Reacting via Instagram on Tuesday, Cubana Chief Priest insinuated that the arrest was tribalistic in nature.

Sharing a picture of himself and Obi Cubana, he wrote: “What Doesn’t Kill Us Makes Us Stronger, We Igbo’s Re Used To This, Mbakala Ga Ama Ozo Mana Ozo Ga Ala. #FreeObiCubana
