We ‘re committed to the plight of PWD’s in jigawa-Governor Badaru

Governor Mohammed Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa state has assured persons with disability of improved livelihood through the implementation of legislative policies in achieving the desire objectives.
He gave the assurance through his representative, Mal. Raba Kaya on the occasion of Legislative Awards organized by members of the joint associations of person’s with Disabilities.
Parts of the incentives was empowerment opportunity’s, improved health and education to the wards of the vulnerable, among others.
According to Raba Kaya with the current development of passing, and approved disability bill to a full pledged law and its implementations, we are on course to accord priority attention to the plights of the vulnerable for improved livelihood.
Earlier in his welcome address, the Chairman, Mal. Usman Mohammed commended Jigawa state government on its improved policies to better the living condition of the disabled. He calls for collaborative efforts amongst govt and relevant MDG’s for effective implementation of the disability law.
Also speaking Hon. Barrister Sadiq Jallo a member representing Hadejia Constituency on behalf of the awardees, assured members of the PWD of state assembly commitment in championing the effective implementations of disability law.
” As people’s representative we are duty bound to support the full implementation of all laws that touches people’s live through the observance of oversight functions”.
During the occasion two state legislatures, a clerk, and Jigawa state Commissioner of finance were giving an award on the roles they played in supporting the enactments of social protection bill, among other philanthropic gesture towards improving the livelihood of the people with special needs.
Among the personalities honoured include Hon. Barr. Sadiq jallo a member representing Hadejia Constituency and his colleague, Hon. Dangyatin representing Miga, the Clerk to Jigawa State House of Assembly, as well as Jigawa state Commissioner of finance Alh. Babangida Tukur Gantsa.
