The Chairman Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee, CECPC, Mai Mala Buni, of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has assured Progressives Women in the party that they will continue to receive support from the party to enable them to realize their dreams for service delivery.
Buni gave this assurance in a keynote address at the Progressives Women Conference held at the International Conference Center in Abuja noting that the party will be glad to see more women and youths occurring more offices during the forthcoming National Convention and the general elections.
He reiterated the vital position women are holding in the society, adding that they have been supportive of the gains made by the party and he expects more of such support as the party is also working to give them generous assistance during the convention and general elections.
” I want to sincerely thank you for the support to the party before, during and after the exercise.I also look forward to more support during the convention and indeed the general elections.I am proud to say that APC is the most friendly women party in Nigeria.

“Let me assure you that the party shall not forget this gesture by supporting women and youths for their political aspirations. And to realize their political dreams. We look forward to having more women contesting in the forthcoming National Convention of the party on February 26th, 2022, and the general elections.
” As we approach the convention, and draw closer to the general elections, I wish to remind you of your Progressives roles and supporting progressive-minded leaders aspiring for various offices for the betterment of our country.
” You should enlighten your spouse and children, fathers, mothers, neighbours and in-laws and the larger society that elections are not a do-or-die affair. We should promote peaceful elections and service delivery against personal gains. Let me once again assure, that APC will continue to support you and support you generously”, he said.
