Nyesom Wike, Minister of the FCT, has congratulated President Bola Tinubu on his victory at the Supreme Court.
ThisNigeria reported that the apex court affirmed Tinubu’s electoral victory, dismissing appeals filed by Peter Obi, the candidate of the Labour Party (LP), and Atiku Abubakar of the PDP.
Reacting, Wike said that Tinubu had the mandate and support of Nigerians to lead the country to greater heights.
He said; “I congratulate President Tinubu on his well-deserved victory at the Supreme Court, this is a victory for democracy and the rule of law.
“This is a victory for the Nigerian people who voted massively for him and his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC).
“This is a victory for justice and fairness.”
The Supreme Court has affirmed that President Tinubu is the authentic and lawful president of Nigeria.”
Wike also commended the Supreme Court for its professionalism and integrity in delivering its judgment.
He said; “I commend the Supreme Court for its professionalism and integrity in delivering its judgment.
“The court has shown that it is independent and impartial in dispensing justice.
