The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) G-5 governors, also known as the Integrity Governors, on Friday, held a closed door meeting in Enugu.
The group, led by Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, were received at the Akanu Ibiam International Airport Enugu by Governor Ugwuanyi.
The other governors include Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, Enugu State governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, Samuel Ortom of Benue State and Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State.
G-5 PDP govs still open to reconciliation, says Wike
The meeting may not be unconnected to the 2023 elections as the G5 are trying to “explore other options and are deliberating on the next line of action.”
ThisNigeria reports that the governors have been clamouring for equality and fairness within the PDP as Iyorchia Ayu has refused to resign as the party chairman as promised.
