Wike: I didn’t support, ask Buhari for favour

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has dared anyone with proof that he asked Former President Muhammadu Buhari for personal favours to come forward.
Giving reason for his refusal to seek Buhari’s favours on any issue, the former Rivers State governor noted that he did not believe in the government of the former president.

In a video shared by TVC news, Wike, who boasted that he did not compromise challenged anyone to contest his assertion.
He underscored his refusal to endorse Buhari’s government, even going as far as abstaining from attending National Economic Council (NEC) meetings, citing it as an act of integrity.
He stated, “When I did not support Buhari as Governor, let anybody challenge me, I never came to Buhari one day to beg for anything or to go and make a statement. I stood firm. I did not support him and I never believed his government. In fact, even to go to NEC meetings, that’s integrity.”
