Wike, Makinde visit Tinubu in Abuja

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike and his Oyo State counterpart, Seyi Makinde on Friday paid a visit to the President-elect, Bola Tinubu in Abuja.

Speaking after the visit, Governor Wike stated that he had full confidence in Tinubu and urged Nigerians to come together for the good of the nation.

He said “Elections have come and gone. A winner has emerged. I urge all Nigerians to unite for the good of the country and rally round the president-elect to give him the necessary support he needs.”

“I have full confidence in Tinubu and I know he has what it takes to turn this country around. Come May 3rd and 4th, the president-elect will come to inagurate projects in Rivers State. We are very happy about it,” he added

Also speaking after the visit, Governor Makinde said “Elections are over, this is governance. We will do our best to give Tinubu the necessary support needed for good governance in Nigeria.”

ThisNigeria reports that Tinubu will be inaugurated as President on May 29, 2023.
