
Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Nyesom Wike on Thursday presented staff of office to four new appointed graded chiefs in the nation’s capital.
The newly sworn-in Traditional Rulers include two second class chiefs and two third class chiefs, who are HRH Joseph Danfulani Narai, JP (Sa’Karuyi of Karu) and HRH Luka Ayedoo Nizassan III (Etsu Kwali).
Others include HRH Alh. Abubakar Sani Pai (Sarkin Pai) and HRH Alh. Aliyu Yakubu (Etsu of Yaba).
Speaking after the presentation, Wike said the event was to do what was important to reach out to the grassroots in line with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

The Minister also noted that traditional rulers have significant role to play by virtue of their nearness to the people at the grassroots, pledging to provide them with necessary support to succeed.
“We’ll support you to succeed. If there is anything you need, tell us”, he promised.
Speaking on the protestsWike also commended protesters over staging peaceful protests; stressing that it was better to dialogue and maintain peace during protests.
