Lofty Uche, the South-East Coordinator, Federation of Youths Soccer Clubs (FEYSOC), says 80 teams have indicated interest to compete in the federation’s 2021 tournament.

Uche disclosed this on Tuesday in Enugu, saying that the competition was open to teams in all the states of the federation.

He said that 28 under 18 teams, 22 under 15 teams, and 25 under 13 teams confirmed their participation.
He said the participating teams would begin to arrive at Enugu for the nine-day tournament from Aug. 21 to Aug. 22.

According to him, screening of players and opening ceremony would take place at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu on Aug. 23.
