Yusuf Buhari, the son of President Muhammadu Buhari and Zahra Bayero, the daughter of Nasiru Ado Bayero, the Emir of Bichi in Kano, have sealed their union on Friday, August 20th, 2021.
The ceremony took place at the Palace of the Emir of Bichi with high profile dignitaries in attendance.
President Buhari was also present at the occasion, following his trip to Adamawa to pay a condolence visit to the family of Ahmed Joda.

Also present at the event is the high-level delegation sent by Buhari which include the Minister of Defence, retired Maj. Gen. Bashir Magashi; Minister of Agriculture, Alhaji Sabo Nanono; Minister of Aviation, Sen. Hadi Sirika; Minister of Water Resources, Suleiman Hussein Adamu as well as the Senior Special Assistant to the President (Media and Publicity), Garba Shehu. They were led by the Chief of Staff, Prof. Ibrahim Gambari.
Yusuf, 27, is a graduate of the University of Surrey, Guildford, United Kingdom, while Zahra, 19, is currently studying architecture at a university in the same country.
