Detained associates of Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo a.k.a Sunday Igboho have been released by the Department of State Services (DSS).
According to reports, eight of the detained aides were released on Monday.
A Federal High Court judge in Abuja, Obiora Egwuatu had granted bail to the 12 aides on August 4th.
However, the DSS refused to comply with the court ruling and kept Igboho’s associates in custody.

Their lawyer, Pelumi Olajengbesi, on Friday, then issued an ultimatum to the security outfit following their refusal to release the aides.
Olajengbesi had threatened to commence contempt proceedings against the Director-General of the DSS, Yusuf Bichi if the court order was not complied with within 48 hours.
