The Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Vice Marshal Oladayo Amao, has ordered an immediate investigation into crash of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Beechcraft KingAir B350i aircraft in which seven persons on board died
The Aircraft was returning to the Abuja Airport after reporting engine failure enroute Minna.

While the Airforce high command urged the general public to remain calm and await the outcome of investigation, the Chief of Air Staff, AVM Amao, on behalf of all NAF personnel, commiserates with the families of the deceased, in a press statement, issued by the Director of Public Relations and Information, AVM, Ibikunle Daramola
The Accident Investigation Bureau, Nigeria (AIB-N) on Sunday confirmed the crashat the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.
The General Manager, Public Affairs of AIB, Mr Tunji Oketunbi, confirmed this on Sunday in Lagos.
Oketunbi said “It is a military aircraft and the crash is outside our jurisdiction to comment.
” I will advise you call the NAF PRO for detail”.
Also, an industry source also confirmed that the aircraft belongs to the Nigerian Air Force.
