Former secretary to Ekiti State Government, Abiodun Oyebanji has been sworn in as the Executive Governor of the state.
Oyebanji was sworn in by the state’s chief judge, Justice Oyewole Adeyeye at the state government house in Ekiti.
The swearing in ceremony was attended by the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu; Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu and his Plateau State counterpart, Simon Lalong.

Other dignitaries include;Gov Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos state, Godwin Obaseki of Edo state, Abubakar Badaru of Jigawa state and Dapo Abiodun ofO Ogun state, among others.
Recall that Oyebanji was declared winner of the 2022 Ekiti general election after polling a total vote of 187,057 to defeat SDP’s Segun Oni and PDP’s Bisi Kolawole.
