Abuja-Kaduna: Families of abducted passengers’ protest

The families of the abducted passengers of the Abuja-Kaduna train attack on Monday expressed their grievances with a protest at the Ministry of Transportation, in Abuja.

This is following the release of a viral video, showing the abductors, mercilessly flogging the victims on Sunday, July 24th.

Reacting, relatives of the victims took to the Ministry to appeal to relevant agencies to intervene in the matter and ensure the victims are set free.

This is not the first protest by the families of the abductees since their unfortunate kidnap.

Recall that an Abuja-Kaduna train was on March 28, 2022, attacked by a group of bandits in Katari, Kaduna State, killing eight people and abducting other passengers on the train.

Part of the demands made by the terrorist group to the Federal Government is to ensure the release of some of their members in their custody.
