Kelechi Iheanacho’s superlative performance this season in the Premiership has opened a vista of opportunities for the in-form Super Eagles striker.
It is no more news that some top EPL clubs are jostling to have the Leicester goal poacher in their fold, but ex-international, Mutiu Adepoju, has cautioned the Nigerian to weigh the options before making a final decision.
It was reported during the week that the Blues manager, Thomas Tuchel, has shown interest in the ability of the Leicester City forward to improve his team’s attack, a Spanish publication, Fichajes, revealed.
Chelsea, though, is not the only Premier League team interested in securing the signature of Iheanacho, with the report suggesting that Manchester United and Arsenal are watching the 24-year-old.
Talking from experience, Adepoju stressed that what is happening to Iheanacho is a good development in football, particularly when a player is in top form different clubs will be jostling for his signature.
“Iheanacho needs to weigh all the options before making a decision. He must be sure that he will have regular playing time if he moves to the new club.

“It is not about money but must also think about the nearest future in whatever decision he is taking now. Will the new club be patient with him if the goals are coming as expected? Can he easily adapted to a new club and hit the ground running immediately?
“The convivial atmosphere in Leicester City on and off the pitch may not be there in the new club. He must weigh all these options before he makes a decision,” he offered his advice. Iheanacho has been on fire over the last few weeks, with Harry Kane (15) the only Premier League player to have scored more goals in all competitions than the Nigerian international this year.
The former Manchester City has scored 13 goals in all competitions for the Foxes since the turn of the year. His goal against West Brom recently was his ninth in the league this season- the most he has scored in a single campaign.
