The Deputy Governor of Ondo state, Agboola Ajayi, resigns from PDP.
After losing the PDP primaries to Eyitayo Jegede, Agboola has left the PDP to Zenith Labour Party in order to keep his hope for the governorship alive.
Confirming this, Agboola’s media aide, Allen Sowore said that, “This decision is as a result of the call on the Deputy Governor by the majority of the good people of Ondo State to give hope to the hopeless, provide credible and purposeful leadership in our dear State.
“The chairman of the PDP in Apoi Ward 2 of Ese-Odo Local Government Area, Festus Oboro acknowledged the receipt of the resignation letter on 9th of August 2020.”
