
The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) yesterday reminded the public and residents of the nation’s capital that its final notice was issued for the settlement of outstanding ground rents and that the grace period for such settlement had elapsed.
It, therefore, said the enforcement of sanctions may begin in earnest.

A paid advertisement signed by the FCTA’s management, however, said the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, in considering the sustained response from affected allottees and in order not to disenfranchise those who are still in queue for collection of ground rent bill and are eager to pay, has graciously approved an additional time for the expiration of the final notice by moving it to December 14, 2023.
