Eleven Governorship aspirants have indicated interest to contest for the November 6 Governorship election in Anambra State under the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
National Chairman of the party, Chief Okey Nwosu, disclosed this during a press briefing held yesterday (Tuesday) n Awka the state capital.
He said that ADC was strategically positioned to clinch victory at the poll in the state .
Among the gubernatorial aspirants contesting under the party, tickets include Afamefune Ezenwafor, Chief Godson Okoye, Dr. Ejike Onuogu, and Rev. Surface Ifeanaejere.
Nwosu explained that each of the aspirants is expected to purchase the party’s nomination form at N10 million and the expression of interest form at N2 million, totaling N12 million.
The party is expected to reap an estimated N132 million from the sale of the forms.

Findings revealed that the All Progressives Congress had pegged the sale of the two for s at N22.5 million, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is N26million, and N22 million for that of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA).
However, Nwosu assured the party leadership and members that the planned party’s primary would be transparent, credible, free, and fair.
He added that the ADC has zero-tolerance for any kind of inducement on delegates, stressing that any aspirant caught in the act during the party’s primary would be disqualified and made to face the wrath of the law
