The former Special Adviser to Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State on Internal Security, Hon. Israel Adesokan Adedeji known as Jaru has joined the Social Democratic Party SDP.

Adedeji joined the party at ward A in his home town, Iyin Ekiti where he addressed other members and hoped that the party would record victory in the forthcoming election.

The Iyin-Ekiti born politician and chieftain of APC is yet to give reasons for his defection.

Another Fayemi’s aide and Senior Special Assistant on Electoral Matters, Hon. Kupolati also left APC to join SDP on Thursday in support of Former Governor Segun Oni,.its governorship Candidate.
