With different sources claiming that the March 25, 2022 World Cup Playoff between hosts Ghana and the Super Eagles of Nigeria could be moved to a neutral venue, the Authentic Nigeria Football and Allied Sports Supporters Club (ANFASSC) has reacted to the development.

Originally, the Confederation of African Football, CAF has given a nod for the Cape Coast stadium to play host to the game.

Meanwhile, In the last twenty four hours there are claims that the game could be taken to either Benin Republic or Morocco if the pitch in Cape Coast is not Football friendly after it hosted a parade to celebrate Ghana’s 65th independence.

This would result to a change in plan for Nigerians who intend to see the game live.

The President of the foremost Supporters club on the land, Prince Abayomi Ogunjimi in his reaction said his group is ready to travel anywhere to cheer the Super Eagles to victory.

He said “It’s a very crucial game and we are quite aware of how instrumental we will be to the boys, though I don’t know how true it is, but even if the game will no longer hold in Ghana, anywhere the Super Eagles fly to, we will go”

“Ghana is closer and it would save us a lot, we will like the game to go ahead, but if CAF is moving the game because of the pitch, then we are ready to go anywhere with our darling Super Eagles”
