The number of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential aspirants have been trimmed down to two.
They include Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and National Leader of the APC, Bola Tinubu.
This was made known by Senator Kabiru Gaya while speaking at the Eagles Square which is the venue of the APC special convention.
ThisNigeria reported that APC Northern governors had submitted a five-man list of aspirants to Presdient Muhammadu Buhari for consideration.

They include Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, former Lagos State Governor, Bola Tinubu; a former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi; Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi; Ebonyi State Governor, David Umahi.
However, seven aspirants on the platform of the party rejected the list, saying they were not duly consulted before submitting the names.
They are Cross River State Governor, Ben Ayade; former Minister for State for Education, Emeka Nwajiuba; former Minister for Science and Technology, Ogbonnaya Onu; former Governor Rochas Okorocha and businessman Tein Jack-Rich.
