APC Presidential Primary: Seven aspirants step down for Tinubu

Seven aspirants have stepped down for the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the ongoing All Progressive Congress (APC) presidential primary.

Tinubu who was the first to address the delegates noted that he was eminently qualified as he is experienced, capable of uniting Nigeria, and has the leadership know-how as well as experience to stir a diverse country like Nigeria.

We are still contesting APC presidential ticket- Amaechi, Nwajiuba

“If our party must win the next year’s presidential election, the candidate you select must have personal gravity to deliver.”

First aspirant to step down was Senator Godswill Akpabio followed by the former governor of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dimeji Bankole, Former Governor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi, Governor of Jigawa State, Badaru Abubakar, former Ondo State Senator, Robert Boroffice and female aspirant, Kennedy-Ohanenye

However, Rotimi Amaechi, Pastor Tunde Bakare, David Umahi, Proffesor Yemi Osinbajo, Ahmed Lawan,  Yahaya Bello of Kogi State, and Senator Rochas Okorocha refused to step down.
